Please note that the hand sewing device is not intended as a replacement for a regular sewing machine, as it cannot sew with a bobbin, among other limitations. However, it is an excellent and useful complement to the larger version. If the device is not functioning properly, please check the following: Ensure that the batteries are working (four AA batteries - not included). Check if the thread is threaded correctly. Check if the needle is possibly slightly angled in its holder. If so, replace it with a standard sewing machine needle. Adjust the thread tension if necessary.
