Noise is an annoying byproduct that is caused not only at airports by departing airplanes and in road traffic by passing trucks. Especially in one's own home, many people strive to create a quiet environment for relaxation. Unfortunately, in many cases, the PC contradicts these efforts and can be quite noisy during operation.

The sources of noise are primarily all rotating components, particularly fans and hard drives. These should be decoupled and, if necessary, their speed reduced. Many cases support these measures and already come equipped with appropriate features from the factory.

Additionally, soundproofing can further reduce external noise. This modified version of the Corsair Graphite 780T combines both approaches and is equipped with pre-installed soundproofing.

The special feature of this configuration is that, in addition to the pre-installed soundproofing mats, extra soundproofing material is included. This material is also precisely cut and allows for additional sealing of other case parts. As a result, you have the choice of how much soundproofing you want to install to achieve an individual optimum of cooling and noise reduction.
