As a result, the power supply operates very efficiently, generating little waste heat while minimizing power consumption – a blessing in times of constantly rising energy costs. The ATX-2.4 and EPS-2.92 standards of the power supply also provide comprehensive hardware compatibility.

With 450 watts, the power supply is suitable for a variety of applications. Unlike most other manufacturers, Corsair does not use split 12V rails, but rather a single, robust single-rail design, in this case rated at 37.4 A current and 448.8 watts of power.
