Corning Basic MPO patch cables are used to establish connections between MPO adapter panels, conversion modules, and electronic devices. They typically serve connectivity within a distribution cabinet or rack. These cable assemblies are based on a slim 2.0 mm cable, which facilitates finger access, reduces cable density, and improves airflow in both the horizontal and vertical areas of the distribution cabinet. Corning Basic MPO patch cables have the same connector size and cable cross-section as conventional LC duplex patch cables, thereby maintaining the benefits in terms of density, airflow, and cable management even when migrating to higher data rates.
