Cooltek KX Green

The KX is a functional, stylish, and particularly affordable standard midi tower. The front features two external bays for the installation of optical drives. At the top of the front panel, there is an easily accessible I/O panel, allowing corresponding peripherals to be quickly and conveniently connected from the front. The lower part of the front panel is dominated by color-highlighted MESH elements, which ensure particularly effective ventilation for the hard drives and installed hardware. The quick-release covers for the optical drives are available in red, blue, or green, depending on the model.

The power and HDD LEDs are located just below the drive bays on the right side. The power and reset buttons are positioned to the right of the USB ports. At the front of the case top, there is a storage compartment where smartphones and MP3 players can be securely stored and charged via the easily accessible USB ports. Alternatively, the compartment is also suitable for external hard drives or digital cameras.

The chassis of the KX is made of steel and is carefully painted in matte black. The case features a well-crafted steel chassis, with carefully folded and deburred edges to prevent cuts during hardware installation.

The KX offers a ventilation system that is appropriate for its price range. Included in the package is a fan that is pre-installed at the rear of the case to transport warm air out of the enclosure. An additional fan can be conveniently mounted behind the front panel. The side panel also has mounting options for two additional fans. The cooling performance of existing VGA cards and CPU coolers can be significantly improved and optimized by equipping the side panel with fans.
