Colorama PaperBrake Kit

The Colorama paper brake is a simple yet clever attachment that is compatible with rolls measuring 1.35 m, 2.18 m, and 2.72 m in width and can easily be slid onto an existing cardboard core with a diameter of 5.4 cm. Designed for professional image creators who have often experienced the frustration of a paper roll "freely rolling" on a backdrop holder, resulting in an undesirable amount of paper unwinding that must be manually rewound, often not as neatly as before. The registered design of these clever little accessories prevents the core from freely rotating on the crossbar, allowing the paper to be pulled down from the ground in controlled, incremental steps instead. This means the user no longer has to climb a ladder or similar to make adjustments when the backdrop holder is elevated, saving them from the tedious task of rewinding the paper after it has unwound too much. The Colorama paper brake is reusable and can be easily switched from one roll to another when a different paper is needed or when the paper roll is replaced. They are supplied in pairs, one for each end of the roll, and allow a 40 mm wide joint piece to pass through at their widest point, making them compatible with most backdrop support poles.
