Product details

Graduated Filter Blue 2COKIN graduated filters are ideal for landscape photography. With the gradient from blue to transparent, you can balance the high contrast differences between the sky and the ground. Simply expose for the foreground, and the graduated filter will slightly darken the bright upper area. This way, you can easily manage the enormous contrast difference.

Balance color and contrast between image areas, tint the sky, and emphasize mood. The blue tint provides a natural blue in your photo, even with white or gray cloud formations. This way, you can bring contrasts back into the image.

The graduated filter is only available as a rectangular slip-in filter. Slip-in filter systems really show their advantages when using graduated filters. You can let your creativity run wild and position the gradient as you wish, whether you prefer it at the bottom, top, left, or right. You also have control over where the gradient starts. You just need to slide the filter further or less far in front of the lens in the filter holder. This will make the effect appear stronger or more subtle in the image. Depending on the positioning and strength of the filter, a correction of exposure, aperture, or ISO may be necessary.
