Cokin has developed a new coating process that ensures perfect, even coloring. A metallic nano-coating is applied to both sides of the robust Schott B270 glass, providing ideal transmission values with minimal reflection due to the combination of high-quality glass and high-tech coating.

The Nuances filter series from Cokin is specifically aimed at landscape photography enthusiasts who want to achieve long exposures with a high-quality ND filter. Additionally, the Nuances filters allow for a reduction in depth of field in bright lighting situations, particularly in portrait photography and videography.

The "strongest" neutral density filter ND1024 in the Nuances filter series reduces incoming light by 10 stops. It effectively captures light before it reaches the sensor, creating exciting effects without color shifts. Ten stops can be too much in some situations, which is why Cokin offers the Nuances filters in six different strengths.

It goes without saying that these ND filters are designed for use with the Cokin Creative Filter Holder System in sizes M to XL. Since various Cokin filters can be combined with the Nuance filters, there are no limits to creativity. Filters in size L also fit all standard 4x4" matte boxes. Filters from strength ND32 in sizes L and XL come with a foam mask that can be slid between the filter and the holder to block unwanted stray light.
