To keep everything in view even in dark surroundings, the backlight shines at the touch of a button. Whether in Europe or North America, in large parts of Canada and Central America or in Japan, after the watch is set to the local time zone, it receives the corresponding radio signal and always displays the exact time. In many countries, it also sets the summer and winter time completely independently. The World Time function displays the times in up to 29 different time zones. Elapsed time, split time, and end time are measured with an accuracy of hundredths of a second. The measuring capacity of the watch is up to one hour. For all who want to know exactly, the countdown timer helps to remember special or recurring events by emitting an acoustic signal at the set time. The time can be set in minutes and up to 1 hour in advance. The daily alarm reminds of daily recurring events, at which an acoustic signal sounds at the set time. You can choose in which language the days of the week are displayed. This model works multi-lingually. If desired, the key tones can be switched off with the mode button. After switching off, there is no more beeping sound when switching from one function to the next. Set alarms or countdown timers are still active after the key tones are switched off. Once set, the automatic calendar always displays the correct date. The time display can be set to either 12-hour or 24-hour format. In 12-hour mode, a "p" appears in the display for the second half of the day, i.e., from 12 noon until 11:59 pm. The surface of the watch glass is domed, offering high stability and resistance to pressure. The resin is made of synthetic resin and is the ideal material for bracelets due to its extreme durability and flexibility. The battery supplies the watch with the necessary energy for approximately 2 years. Showering and bathing is possible with this watch; it is tested for water resistance up to 5 bar according to ISO 22810.
