After a one-time manual setup, the CarlinKit 4.0 automatically connects to your smartphone every time you start the car, eliminating the hassle of plugging in cables. The installation is simple: just connect the CarlinKit 4.0 via USB cable, navigate through the menu, and establish the connection. After that, the device remains permanently connected in the car without needing to be removed again. It only works with vehicles that are already equipped with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto from the factory and is compatible with both iPhones and Android smartphones. USB-A and USB-C cables are included in the package.
