For the use of conventional 52mm slip-in filters with selected Canon super-telephoto lenses. The filter is inserted into the holder and then placed together in the filter holder slot on the lens. The color of the Canon 52 (WIII) filter holder is only suitable for the EF 400mm f/2.8L IS III USM and EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM lenses – with other lenses, the color may vary. This has no impact on the performance or compatibility of the filter holder.
