Der Canon Legria HF M406 ist ein guter HD-Camcorder mit Speicherkarte (2 Steckplätze). Klassische längliche Bauform (horizontaler Camcorder). Liefert besonders gute Videos (Note: 1,8). Sehr gut bei Kunstlicht. Kommt mit sehr wenig Licht aus. Sehr guter Autofokus. Ton insgesamt gut...
Der 406er filmt auf Karte - und das wie sein großer Bruder gleich doppelt. Das bringt Speicherplatz satt, den er mit hochwertigen Aufnahmen füllt, die vor allem im Lowlight ihresgleichen suchen. Hinzu kommen ein potenter Akku und eine Fernbedienung, die im Testfeld leider selten ist. Sein einziges Manko ist die schmale Weitwinkelwirkung.
Mustergültig erweisen sich die größeren Proportionen des Gehäuses. Weitere positive Erkenntnisse bestanden in der Lichtempfindlichkeit und der Tonqualität.
