Source: Digitec Galaxus… Auch der M 31 produziert vor allem bei Tageslicht gute Bildqualität und bietet praktische Funktionen wie Vorabaufnahme und interne Konvertierung in Standard Defination auf Speicherkarte.
Wir sind allgemein etwas überrascht, dass Canon nicht mehr neue Funktionen und Updates mit dem HF M31 anbietet. Klar, der Camcorder hat ein paar neue manuelle Einstellungsmöglichkeiten (Powered IS und AGC Grenze), aber im Grunde genommen ist es der HF20 mit neuem LCD und verbessertem Menüsystem.
Bei der Farbwiedergabe sieht die Canon dagegen prächtig aus. Sehr klare Farben bei einer sehr neutralen Wiedergabe. In Maßen lässt sich die Kamera dazu noch an den eigenen Bildgeschmack anpassen.
Die Legria HF M31 verfügt über ein "dual flash memory system" mit 32GB internem Speicher, welcher bequem über den SD-Slot erweitert werden kann. Das System erkennt automatisch, wenn ein Speicher voll ist und lässt den "Überlauf" auf die nächste Speicherart zu, ohne dass die Aufzeichnung unterbrochen werden muss.
