For hands-free calling, the included external car microphone allows you to use the RMD402DAB-BT as a hands-free speakerphone in your car. Place the microphone in a convenient location, and you can make calls intelligible through the car's speakers by picking up the handset from the radio's control panel.

The RMD402DAB-BT features several physical ports, allowing you to connect a USB flash drive, an SD card with up to 32 GB of memory, or an auxiliary cable. It has two USB ports: one for music playback and another for charging your smartphone. Additionally, the RMD402DAB-BT includes a dedicated video output and RCA camera input, making it useful for connecting a dashboard or parking camera.
