B+W BASIC 093 Infrared Filter black-redThe B+W 092 Infrared Filter, which is almost black but dark purple in front of a light source, blocks visible light up to 650 nm, and only just below 700 nm does it let 50 % through (hence the dark red color). For 730 nm to 2,000 nm, the transmission is over 90 %, which is very high. This allows images of the pure red and infrared.
