Product details
Gray filter with a diameter of 72 mm. Reduces the amount of light by 10 f-stops and extends the possible exposure time by a factor of 1000. Enables extreme long exposures without overexposure. The MRC coating prevents ghosting and reflections. This BW gray filter reduces light by ten f-stops, allowing for extreme long exposures even in daylight. Flowing water appears to turn into mist, and moving people in squares and streets blur into indistinctness or become invisible. Versatile applications. Gray filters block the entire visible light spectrum evenly, resulting in light reduction without affecting colors and contrast. This allows you to use larger apertures or longer exposure times without overexposing the image. The MRC coating minimizes ghosting and double images that can occur from the reflection of some of the incoming light. This effect is significantly reduced by the double-sided MRC coating and can be completely eliminated depending on the shooting situation. ND filters extend the exposure time. A neutral density filter (ND filter) or gray filter blocks a portion of the incoming light. With a gray filter, you significantly extend the exposure time, achieving effects such as blurred water or preventing overexposure of the image in bright sunlight with an open aperture.
