Lens Hoods

A lens hood is an important accessory for better images and should always be used. In addition to shielding against stray light, lens hoods also provide effective mechanical protection for the sensitive front lens against raindrops, accidental contact (fingerprints significantly reduce contrast!), and some rough bumps.
