B+W 311 Snap-Cap Pro are protective caps with two spring-loaded plastic claws that snap into the filter thread. This ensures a firm and secure fit of the cap without the time-consuming process of screwing it on and off. The claws can be operated from the side as well as from above. Therefore, this cap can also be used with a lens hood, allowing it to be attached and removed, provided that the hood does not have a tube that is too long.
