This is the ideal choice for a freshly charged battery, providing a neat and comfortable installation. The holder comes equipped with an approved cigarette plug cable for connection to the vehicle's 12-volt socket. When you place the unit in the holder, it automatically connects to the charging unit. If your car has a USB interface, you can disconnect the cigarette plug from the holder's cable to connect directly to the USB connector in your vehicle. The holder is mounted on a tilt swivel, allowing you to adjust the angle and switch between portrait and landscape mode.

Important note: To transmit audio files from your device through the USB cable, this feature must be supported by your car's stereo. You can easily test this by connecting your device to the stereo with the USB/charging cable that comes with your device. Charging through USB works regardless.

Tablets should not be installed on a car’s dashboard if they block the view or key controls. The ProClip is designed for smaller devices (phones), not larger devices (tablets). If you want to place a tablet on the car’s dashboard, you must examine each combination of tablet and car in detail to determine if such an installation is possible. Consideration should be given to the position and how securely the ProClip is in place, as well as the size of the tablet you wish to use. Brodit will not provide recommendations for such installations.

Installing a tablet on a vehicle’s dashboard is always done at the customer's own risk. Brodit recommends using tablets on the car’s headrest, installed on a Brodit headrest mount.
