AEAT-601B magnetic incremental encoder. The AEAT-601B is a cost-effective rotary quadrature encoder that converts the rotational movement of a shaft into a series of pulses on three digital output channels. A suitable microcontroller can calculate the angular position, speed, and direction of rotation from the two phase quadrature signals and one pulse per revolution index channel. The use of magnetic technology for motion control and sensing replaces mechanical contacts and frees this device from mechanical wear. The maximum rotation speed of the encoder is typically limited only by the bearing speed of the application. TTL 2-channel quadrature output plus index. Resolution: 256 pulses per revolution (CPR). Maximum speed (mechanical): 12000 RPM. Maximum speed (electrical): 7000 RPM. Operating temperature range: -40 to +125 °C. Supply voltage: 4.5 to 5.5 V. Shaft diameter: 6 mm. Shaft length: 8.5 ±1.0 mm. Applications: Monitoring of shaft speeds, closed-loop control (PID) of DC motors, robotics, automation.
