As a traditional provider of photo and presentation technology, Braun Photo Technik also has a wide range of wildlife cameras. These so-called scouting cams serve foresters, hunters, or landowners as wildlife or hunting cameras, camera traps, or even as surveillance cameras for property protection. They provide the ideal opportunity to document wildlife populations or activities.

Since the Braun Scouting Cam Black700 is often used in the wild and exposed to extreme conditions, Braun has included a steel protective housing in its successful model lineup. This robust housing not only provides additional protection for the wildlife camera against weather, dirt, and impacts but also particularly against theft and vandalism. The housing features holes for attaching a security or cable lock (lock not included) and can be secured with long screws or a mounting strap. Thanks to the camera thread, the wildlife camera (including the steel housing) can also be mounted on a tripod.
