The automatic slide mounting device in the C.A.M. system for PAXIMOUNT CS frames or slides in the C.A.M. system. The film strip is inserted into the guiding slots of the device and is transported evenly to the last image, either forward or backward, using a spring-mounted friction wheel transport that automatically adjusts to the film thickness. The viewing area is illuminated by a frosted special lamp. With the help of the two image line markers and a foldable 2½x magnifying glass, the interface can be precisely fixed. The PAXIMOUNT CS slide frame is pushed into the device until it stops, at which point it opens. Cutting is done using a rolling cut method with a self-sharpening stainless steel knife. The film is automatically pressed down, achieving a very precise, clean cut. The cutting process is possible in both directions. After cutting, the slide frame is simply pulled out of the device, closing automatically. Four marking points in the viewing area also allow for subsequent viewing of the framed slides under the magnifying glass.
