Premium version of the Super Overdrive with an extended range and more gain. High-quality audio components and purely analog circuits provide a wide variety of sounds. There is a Standard mode and a Custom mode that respond very well to dynamics and playing style.

With the Waza Edition of the Super Overdrive, Boss takes one of the world's most popular overdrive pedals to a new level. The Waza variant from Japan delivers the classic pedal sound of the Boss SD-1 in Standard mode, while Custom mode offers even more range and gain. The SD-1 overdrive pedal responds extremely accurately to dynamics, playing style, and volume changes. From boost to rich rock sound, everything is possible here.

Operation remains simple with the Level, Tone, and Drive knobs, as well as the switch to toggle between Standard mode and Custom mode. The advantage over the standard version of the pedal is clearly in the expanded sound possibilities and the quality of the components used in the Waza series.
