BOSS (Electronics) JB-2 overdrive pedal

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the BOSS Compact Pedals, BOSS and JHS Pedals are joining forces in a historic and creative collaboration between two industry leaders. The JB-2 Angry Driver features the classic BOSS Compact design and combines the sound of the legendary BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver with the renowned JHS pedal Angry Charlie. In close collaboration, the two pedal innovators developed a completely new, combined circuit with a refined sound and performance perfectly suited for dual-mode drive operation.

Highlights:

• New overdrive pedal with an enormous tonal range, developed in collaboration between BOSS and JHS Pedals
• Combination of the sounds of the BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver and the Angry Charlie from JHS Pedals
• Three dual rotary knobs for independent control of Drive, Tone, and Level for each overdrive type
• Mode switch for individual selection of the overdrive type, two serial connections for stacked sounds, or parallel connection for unique new creations
• Additional mode to switch between BOSS and JHS overdrives via the integrated pedal switch
• Connection for optional footswitch or external effect switcher for remote control of pedal modes and bypass
• Multicolored LED indicates whether the pedal is in BOSS mode (blue), JHS mode (red), or combined mode (purple).
