The original Dimension effect from BOSS and Roland is back – more versatile than ever! The DC-2W has been developed in the proven Waza Craft analog tradition and not only offers a perfect sonic reproduction of the original DC-2 Dimension C pedal but also includes the legendary SDD-320 Dimension D 19" effect unit, which served as the template for the DC-2. The DC-2W features the same intuitive preset interface with four buttons as the original from the 1980s. New is the ability to switch effects electronically, allowing for entirely new sound variations compared to vintage devices. Musicians and sound engineers have always sworn by the unique spatial processing of the Dimension, which allows every sound to be adjusted in width and depth in a nearly magical way – from electric and acoustic guitars to keyboards, vocals, and other sound sources. The DC-2W combines the original circuit design with numerous modern enhancements and is the only effect pedal on the market that offers the classic Dimension experience with comprehensive sonic authenticity. The original Dimension effect is famous for its three-dimensional spatial sound processing, which enhances all signals. In this context, the DC-2 has often been mistakenly referred to as a chorus effect. In fact, like a chorus, the DC-2 is based on a temporal processing of the input signals. However, the unique and refined circuit design of the Dimension creates a subtle expansion of the width and depth of the output material without the modulations becoming audibly prominent.
