BD-2 Blues Driver 50th Anniversary Edition

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, BOSS has introduced three limited edition collector's pedals of its most popular and influential models. Each pedal has been produced in a strictly limited run of only 6800 pieces worldwide. The Blues Driver in the 50th Anniversary Edition features an elegant metallic finish and a silver knurled screw. The 50-Year Anniversary emblem is displayed on the pedal. In addition to the exclusive paint job, each of these pedals has a 4-digit serial number on the housing and comes in custom packaging.

The circuits of the Blues Driver and its sound are identical to those of the mass-produced pedals. The BD-2 produces a very natural-sounding vintage tube tone, ranging from a light overdrive to a high distortion level, making it excellent for sharp solo sounds. The tone control knob and experimenting with the balance between level and gain allow for the creation of many classic sounds. It is particularly convincing due to its natural sound and provides better sustain across various distortion levels. The Blues Driver responds exceptionally well to changes in volume and translates these impressively into sound.
