AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat, where the acid of the battery is completely bound in a fiberglass mat, making it absolutely leak-proof and maintenance-free. Its high vibration resistance also makes it suitable for installation in the vehicle's rear. The cycle stability of the TA AGM is six times higher compared to conventional lead-acid batteries, with a discharge depth of up to 80 percent. This reduces failures due to cyclic loading. With its cold cranking performance of 1,200 A (CCA) and a capacity of 210 Ah, it reliably provides the energy for a safe cold start and all comfort and hotel functions. Due to the micro-cycle stability associated with AGM technology, it is also suitable for functions such as start/stop systems and sailing/coasting, which refers to sailing and rolling without engine support.
