EN 61558, ENEC 10, UL approved component. PCB mount transformers, short circuit proof, VB and PT series. 230V AC, 50 to 60 Hz primary. One or two secondary windings for series or parallel connection. For conformity reasons, 0.35 to 3.2 VA transformers with 2 x 15V and 2 x 18V outputs and all transformers with 2 x 24V outputs should not have the secondary windings connected in series, otherwise they would not comply with VDE 0550 approval. Series VB (0.35-3.2 VA) is inherently short-circuit proof. Series PT (4.5-22 VA) is protected by an internal PTC unit. Compact design with vacuum epoxy moulding conforms to class UL94-V0. Two-piece coil of glass fibre reinforced polyamide provides 100% electrical and dielectric strength. High efficiency and low heating with low inter-turn capacitance and low noise. Extra fixing points for secure PCB mounting (models 4.5 VA and above).
