For compliance reasons, 0.35 to 3.2 VA transformers with 2 x 15V and 2 x 18V outputs and all transformers with 2 x 24V outputs should not have the secondary windings connected in series, otherwise they would not meet VDE 0550 approval. Series VB (0.35-3.2 VA) is inherently short-circuit proof. Series PT (4.5-22 VA) is protected by an internal PTC unit. Compact design with vacuum epoxy resin molded part conforming to class UL94-V0.
