Product details
Everything you love about the HT Club 40 MkII, now with 6L6 tubes. Due to popular demand from Blackstar customers, we are excited to introduce the stunning HT Club 40 MkII 6L6 as a continuous alternative to the standard HT Club 40 MkII. The 6L6 power tube offers characteristic glassy clean sounds, punchy overdrives, and smooth mids, making these power tubes the perfect complement to the dynamic HT Club 40 MkII.
The HT Club 40 MkII 6L6 features the award-winning 40-watt combo powered by a pair of 6L6 tubes driving a 12-inch Celestion Seventy-80 speaker. Equipped with 2 channels and 4 foot-switchable voices, the HT Club 40 MkII is the ideal tube amplifier for gigs in a club. Now, this groundbreaking amplifier takes a different tonal direction: 2 x 6L6 tubes drive dynamic clean and crunch sounds, and a flexible power reduction of 10% makes it the perfect amplifier for club performances, home practice, and studio recordings.
Tonal options:
Clean Voice 1 - American Clean - Very clean and bright, yet with a solid and tight bass response.
Clean Voice 2 - British Clean - Loose bass response with warmer mids, and it responds very sensitively to the guitar's output level and the player's dynamics.
OD Voice 1 - Classic Overdrive - 'Hot-rodded' overdrive with medium power attenuation.
OD Voice 2 - Modern Overdrive - Strong midrange boost before the overdrive, along with a looser, more aggressive sound due to reduced power amp damping.
- Equipped with a pair of 6L6 tubes.
- 1 x 12" Celestion 70/80 speaker.
- Boutique cosmetics with stunning wicker tolex and black chicken-head knobs.
