Black Horse Wilga ARTF

The PZL-104 Wilga (Pirol) is a single-engine Polish multipurpose aircraft produced by the Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze (State Aviation Works) with STOL capabilities. It is used for various purposes including agriculture, medical transport, travel, towing, and training. It was introduced into service in 1962 and approximately 1,000 units were produced until 2008.

Black Horse has created one of the most complex aircraft in the world in a model with such accuracy and quality that it is almost breathtaking. Most would look at the Wilga and assume that the fuselage is made of plastic formed in molds. Wrong! Black Horse masters the art of crafting the intricate curves in balsa wood. They even went to the trouble of representing the external reinforcements that are so characteristic of the Wilga. Without these, it wouldn't be a Wilga!

Just like the original, the Black Horse Wilga is designed for tough operations and challenging missions. The scale landing gear is made from a combination of steel, aluminum, and composite parts, ensuring that it not only looks like the original but also functions like it.

The model is constructed from CNC-machined balsa and plywood parts, covered with high-quality Oracover® film, suitable for gasoline engines, and features scale landing gear with shock absorbers.
