Noise is a bothersome side effect caused not only by departing airplanes at airports and passing trucks in traffic. Many people strive to create a quiet environment in their own homes to find relaxation. Unfortunately, in many cases, the PC interferes with these efforts and can be quite noisy during operation.

The sources of noise are primarily all rotating components, especially fans and hard drives. These should be decoupled, and if necessary, the speed should be reduced. Many cases support these measures and already come equipped with the necessary features.

Additionally, sound insulation can help reduce external noise even further. With this modified version of the Corsair Graphite 780T, both approaches are combined, and the case is equipped with pre-installed soundproofing.

The unique feature of this configuration is that, in addition to the pre-installed soundproofing mats, extra soundproofing material is included. This material is also precisely cut to fit and allows for additional sealing of other case parts. As a result, you have the choice of how much soundproofing you want to install to achieve an individual optimum of cooling and noise reduction.
