For simple, cross-system lens usage, a special third-party lens adapter is necessary to combine lenses and camera bodies with different bayonet mounts. This allows even older lens treasures to be brought into the digital age. It should be noted that there is no transfer of autofocus and aperture control when combining. The subject must be focused manually. Pentax K lenses can be mounted on cameras with a Nikon bayonet using this adapter.
