Betzold Musik Bar Chimes, 44 cm

The Bar Chimes are a percussion instrument. They consist of 25 metal sound bars that can be struck or "swept" with a mallet. When swept, the striking of the lightweight metal bars creates an impressive glissando. They produce great sound effects in music education: children can learn to intuitively handle the Bar Chimes and enjoy the various possibilities for use. The sound bars can be used for making music, as well as for creating sounds, tones, and effects that can enhance storytelling, dance and movement, and similar activities. This makes the Bar Chimes ideal for use in kindergartens, schools, and music schools. The Bar Chimes feature a 44 cm wide wooden frame with 25 solid, coated lightweight metal sound bars. A playing mallet for striking the chimes is also included in the package.
