Product details

The two connected metal bells of the Agogo originally come from Africa. Today, the two bells are used in Samba and Capoeira. They are typically tuned as a third, fourth, or fifth. The Agogo is struck with a metal or wooden mallet. It is one of the instruments from around the world for which the manufacturer is known, and it is ideal for rhythmic music such as street Samba. The two black metal bells can be struck with the mallet - an additional tone is produced when the bells are pressed against each other while playing. Even children can easily learn to make music with the Agogo and get excited about Samba rhythms. Anyone involved with Latin American rhythms in music, whether in school or music classes, cannot overlook the Agogo. A fantastic, unique addition to the music room.
