The consent foot switch offers two consent contacts and one signaling contact and is available both with and without a locking mechanism. When the pedal is pressed to the pressure point, the two release contacts close. When the pedal is released, the release contacts open again. If the pedal is fully pressed, meaning beyond the pressure point, the release contacts open in a forced manner. For the application of a consent device, standards such as DIN EN ISO 12100 and DIN EN 60204-1 must be observed. With the signaling contact, dynamic position detection is possible. Alternatively, static position detection can be realized using a PNP output. This allows for the determination of the activation position 1, which is the off state of the release contacts (activator is not pressed), or position 3, which is the off state of the working contacts (activator is fully pressed), making it directly available to the control system. The approved consent foot switch is only available in the standard version without a UN cover.
