Light, stable, controlled. The new RockShox SID Select fork with 120 mm features 35 mm thick stanchions and smooths out just about everything that gets in the way on the trail. Its low weight is paired with high trail performance, making it perfect for the XCV.
Shimano XT Drivetrain
Shimano's XT drivetrain has stood for reliability, precision, and a fair price-performance ratio for years. The chain shifts smoothly across the 12-speed range of 10-51 teeth and continues to perform faithfully even after years of use. Combined with the 34-tooth chainring, even the steepest mountains become less daunting.
29" Wheels
29" wheels roll better over obstacles, provide stability in rough terrain, and offer more grip. The Dt Swiss H1900 Hybrid wheelset, with a width of 30 mm, supports the tire and provides a broad base, further enhancing grip. Precise line choice thanks to Boost spacing, a user-friendly thru-axle, and an integrated speed sensor in the brake disc complete this popular wheelset.
Dropper Seatpost
A special feature of the XCV 869 is the JD RAD seatpost, which can be conveniently lowered from the handlebar using its ergonomic lever. The post has a travel range of 95-125 mm, which can be easily adjusted by hand without tools. Available as an option on all XCV8 models.
