The contrast enhancer divides images into more than 1,000 zones, analyses the brightness of each segment and adjusts the gamma independently for better definition of dark and bright details. Using Active Iris and Dynamic Black technology, BenQ's cinema-optimised tone mapping increases contrast to reveal even the smallest details in dark areas.

For ultimate colour accuracy, BenQ's high-end projectors offer advanced colour temperature tuning with 11 levels of white balance between high and low brightness. Most films are recorded at 24 frames per second (fps). To display films exactly as the directors intended, the TK860 supports 24p playback of films at 24 frames per second without stuttering in HDR mode. The Motion Enhancer inserts 36 interpolated frames between sequences to create smooth and vivid videos at a resolution of 60 frames per second, eliminating image lag, blurring or distracting shadows. The TK860's treVolo 2x 5W chamber speakers utilise acoustic and psychoacoustic techniques for deep bass and impressive highs, and also feature exclusive EQ algorithms used by Hollywood studios for pure clarity and sensual sound quality. The TK860 connects you to all types of entertainment with universal connectivity, including three HDMI 2.0b (HDCP 2.2), SPDIF and eARC for transmitting 7.1-channel and Dolby Atmos audio signals over a single HDMI cable.

Vertical lens shift offers a 10% range of motion for perfectly straight images without loss of resolution, allowing for more flexible installation and placement. The BenQ Entertainment projector TK860 does not always have to be placed in the centre of the room or on the table - the 2D keystone correction ensures this. The automatic vertical and manual horizontal keystone correction counteracts the trapezoid effect and aligns the projection optimally. This enables projection in outstanding image quality from any location without having to accept deviations in image quality.
