Product details
Legendary analog dual filter module for Eurorack. The first System 55, 35, and 15 synthesizer modules hit the market in the early 1970s and were typically extremely expensive. They were primarily discrete transistor designs, as operational amplifiers were very costly at that time. The discrete circuitry gave the modules a very distinctive sound, used by artists like Keith Emerson, Stevie Wonder, Tangerine Dream, and many others, resulting in some of the greatest records we have ever heard. Modular synthesizers were a groundbreaking development in electronic music, and today it gets even better. Enter the Behringer 923 FILTER. An authentic reproduction of the circuits of the "Modular 35 and 15" series filters, used by the most famous pop, rock, and jazz musicians in the world. Now you can build your very own unique synthesizer that fits into a standard Eurorack case at a very affordable price. Mix and match with specific modules to customize your synthesizer and complement the music genre you play, or go all out and have a space filled from floor to ceiling with modules that fulfill the wildest dreams of any synthesizer enthusiast. The 923 features separate low and high-pass filters, each with its own dedicated frequency cutoff controls. The low-pass filter control attenuates all frequencies above the set threshold frequency from 10 Hz to 10 kHz, while the high-pass filter control attenuates frequencies below the set frequency. Each filter has its own 3.5mm input and output jacks, allowing you to route incoming signals through the IN jack, through the filter, and back out of the OUT jack.
