Maximum energy efficiency is achieved through the automatic shut-off of the 2300 W heating element upon reaching the boiling point. With only 700 watts, up to 15 liters are quietly kept simmering at around 98°C without the water splashing upwards as it does when boiling – it merely swells. Depending on the temperature setting, the water can also be kept hot or warm with minimal evaporation. If you want to bring it back to a boil, it only takes a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the contents.
