The be quiet! SilentWings 3 120mm PWM fan offers advanced technology, virtually silent operation, and even more efficient cooling. Its secret: a 6-pole motor that spins like a clock, an advanced fluid dynamic bearing system, an optimized blade design in its latest iterations, and a fan frame with funnel-shaped air inlets.
The 6-pole motor with three phases ensures reduced power consumption, less vibration, and therefore quieter operation. The detachable and vibration-dampening mounting brackets on the four fan edges minimize the transmission of vibrations to the case. The use of a high-quality integrated circuit helps reduce electrical noise. The rubberized fan frame is equipped with funnel-shaped air inlets for extremely high air pressure. The seven blades with optimized airflow provide near-silent operation and optimal ventilation.
