The Silent Hill Re-Mastered Collection combines two classic Silent Hill titles from the past and brings them to the PlayStation 3 for the first time. This offering presents Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 with enhancements such as true HD graphics, providing both new and old fans the opportunity to experience the early era of Silent Hill as a truly genre-defining experience with the added value of two games.

Silent Hill 2 follows the tragic story of James Sunderland as he arrives in the sleepy town, drawn by a mysterious letter from his deceased wife. As he seeks the chance to see her again, burdened by guilt and regret, he encounters his fears, which manifest as unseen evils and threatening characters that lead him into an otherworldly asylum. In the struggle against the truth of his wife's death, James must escape the lumbering demon Red Pyramid (also known as Pyramid Head), along with his mystifying fears that have taken the form of living monsters in the fog of Silent Hill.

As a sequel to the original Silent Hill game, Silent Hill 3 focuses on the powers of the demonic cult that spreads the madness of the other world through Claudia, a cult member who seeks to bring Harry Mason's daughter Heather to Silent Hill. With a subplot and themes concerning the loss of innocence and childhood, Claudia weaves a web of intrigue to bring forth a new god.
