The "Cub" was one of Bad Cat's original designs - it is a boutique product and has been used on countless stages and recordings. Its original circuit was simple yet extremely versatile, offering punch and tonal richness. It was easy to drive, set the standard for touch dynamics, and established itself as a classic. Over the years, the design of this amplifier has been refined and improved repeatedly. Each iteration brings something new, and our latest "Cub" is no exception.

A single-channel amplifier with two gain modes, the original Cub circuit has been refined and is accessible in this design in clean mode. Here, the "Cub" can produce bright, classic clean sounds that transform into smooth, touch-sensitive overdrive.
