Everything about the ATX165S coaxial system - AXTON ATX165S - powerful 16.5 cm / 6.5 coaxial system, 2-way car speakers with a mounting depth of only 47 mm, sound system with 90 watts RMS. The new AXTON 16.5 cm coaxial system ATX165S replaces the successful predecessor model, which was awarded Best Product, with a significant increase in efficiency and performance.

The ATX165S impresses with its dynamic sound and enormous spatiality, as well as its installation-friendly design: The innovative speaker baskets made of high-strength, low-vibration composite material allow for a minimal mounting depth of just 43 mm - a true problem solver for tight installation spaces!

The woofers/midrange drivers use a specially shaped basket that provides the necessary stability and contributes to optimal voice coil ventilation through the rear openings. Additionally, the proven AXTON PP diaphragm with its excellent damping and a massive ferrite magnet enhance efficiency. The progressive suspension with Nomex spider and durable rubber surround is a lightweight, long-lasting frame that ensures high linearity and accuracy.

The new 16.5 cm 2-way sound system is designed as a point sound source. The 13 mm tweeter with ferrofluid-cooled neodymium drive is on the same plane as the woofer diaphragm, allowing for phase-coherent radiation of the respective frequency components. Phase shifts in the crossover area of the frequency components, which occur with conventional protruding tweeters, are thus a thing of the past. The result is a transparent, clear music reproduction with high dynamics.
