Axton ATC165 16.5 cm 2-Way Compo

Axton speakers are the classic entry point into true high-fidelity sound. With the introduction of the brand new ATC series, Axton raises the bar for affordable high-performance speakers even higher.

The woofers/midrange drivers feature a specially shaped basket that provides the necessary stability and contributes to good voice coil ventilation through the rear openings. Additionally, the proven Axton PP diaphragm offers excellent damping, and a powerful magnet increases efficiency while ensuring absolute control over diaphragm movement even at lower bass frequencies.

The high-quality suspension with Nomex spider and durable rubber surround is a lightweight and long-lasting frame that ensures high linearity and accuracy.

With the newly developed Axton 25 mm textile dome tweeter, extended listening sessions at high volumes are a pleasure. Resonance-free and true to detail in reproduction, the tweeter also excels with its compact dimensions.

The special diffuser ensures targeted radiation and significantly enhances the soundstage representation. For installation away from the original mounting position, Axton has designed an elegantly shaped housing that allows for different radiation angles with its two mounting brackets.

The new ATC series can easily replace the factory-installed components: the installation of a common crossover is not necessary, allowing for a direct 1:1 swap of the woofer. The included compact tweeter crossover can be conveniently placed behind the trim.
