Axton ATC130S 13 cm / 5.25 inch 2-Way Component System 80 W RMS
All about the ATC130S speaker: The Axton ATC130S is a powerful 13 cm / 5 inch component system, a 2-way car speaker with a mounting depth of only 43 mm and a sound system with 70 watts RMS.
The new Axton 13 cm component system ATC130S replaces the successful predecessor model and offers a significant increase in efficiency and performance. The ATC130S impresses with its dynamic sound and enormous spatiality, as well as its installation-friendly design. The innovative speaker baskets made of high-strength, low-vibration composite material allow for a minimal mounting depth of just 39 mm, making it a true problem solver for tight installation spaces.
The woofers/midrange drivers use a specially shaped basket that provides the necessary stability and contributes to optimal voice coil ventilation through the rear openings. Additionally, the proven Axton PP diaphragm offers excellent damping, and a massive ferrite magnet increases efficiency. The progressive suspension with Nomex spider and durable rubber surround is a lightweight, long-lasting frame that ensures high linearity and accuracy.
Thanks to the 25 mm textile dome tweeter, extended listening sessions at high volumes are a pleasure. The special diffuser allows for targeted sound dispersion and optimizes stage imaging. The tweeter is resonance-free and accurate in reproduction, while also having a compact size. For flexible installation, even away from the original mounting location, the set includes a mounting housing that allows for two different radiation angles.
The ATC130S can easily replace the factory-installed components: The woofers can be swapped 1:1, and the installation of a common crossover for mid/woofer and tweeter is not necessary. A crossover is located directly on the woofer, and the compact 6 dB/octave tweeter crossover (with 0 / -3 dB level attenuation) is also included.
