Axton ATC100S

Axton ATC100S - powerful 10 cm / 4 component system, 2-way car speakers with an installation depth of only 39 mm, sound system with 60 watts RMS. The Axton 10 cm component system ATC100S replaces the successful predecessor model, which won the Best Product award - with a significant increase in efficiency and performance. The ATC100S impresses with impulsive sound and enormous spatiality, but also with its ease of installation: the innovative speaker baskets made of high-strength, low-vibration composite material enable an installation depth of just 39 mm - a real problem solver for tight installation spaces.

The bass/midrange drivers use a specially moulded basket that provides the necessary stability and contributes to optimum voice coil ventilation through the rear openings. In addition, the proven Axton PP cone with its excellent damping and a massive ferrite magnet increase the efficiency. The progressive suspension with Nomex spider and resistant rubber surround is a lightweight, durable surround that ensures high linearity and accuracy.

Thanks to the 25 mm fabric tweeter, extensive listening sessions are a pleasure even at high listening volumes. The special diffuser enables targeted dispersion and optimises stage imaging. With its low resonance and detailed reproduction, the tweeter also scores points with its small installation dimensions. For flexible installation - even away from the original installation opening - the set includes a surface-mounted housing that enables two different dispersion angles.

The ATC100S can easily replace the factory-fitted components: The woofers can be swapped 1:1, eliminating the need to fit a common crossover for mid/woofer and tweeter. A crossover is located directly on the woofer, while the compact 6 dB/oct. tweeter crossover (with 0/-3 dB level reduction) included in the scope of delivery can be conveniently positioned behind the panelling.
