The AXIS P1224-E consists of a small HDTV 720p camera with a wide horizontal field of view of 145° - ideal for discreet all-around surveillance. The IP66-compliant camera is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can be flush-mounted in walls, ceilings, elevators, or in tight spaces such as ATMs. It is perfect for banks, retail stores, architectural buildings, hotels, and offices.

The AXIS P1224-E includes two parts: a sensor unit (lens and image sensor) with an 8-meter long cable and the main unit (with connections for network, power, and input/output as well as a memory card slot). The cable connects the two parts and allows for discreet installation of the sensor unit in confined spaces, while the main unit can be placed elsewhere.

The AXIS P1224-E comes with a mounting frame that can be quickly and flush-mounted by screwing or gluing it to the back of a surface. The camera can be powered via Ethernet or an external power source.

The AXIS P1224-E network camera delivers HDTV 720p video images (1280x720 pixels) at full frame rate in H.264 and Motion JPEG.
