With the AXAGON RSS-CD09 2.5-inch SSD/HDD, you can easily convert the optical drive of your laptop into a mounting space for a 2.5-inch SSD or HDD. With the fast SATA 6G interface, you can transfer your data at 6 Gb/s, saving you from annoying waiting times when moving or copying your files. A red LED indicates the activity of the built-in drive.

Installation takes place in the optical drive bay of your laptop. Both standard 2.5-inch SSDs with a height of 7 mm and hard drives with a height of 9.5 mm can be used. In the operating system and in the BIOS (UEFI), the ODD caddy with the built-in storage device behaves like a standard SATA drive.
