For security in the data center, ATEN offers reed door sensors that work in conjunction with the power distribution units (PDUs). They can be installed on the rack door, and the user will be notified when the door is opened. Various states can be monitored, and corresponding notifications and alarm signals can be issued based on minimum and maximum threshold values.

The sensor is an optional accessory – you can certainly operate the ATEN PDU without the light barrier. However, if you want to efficiently manage security in the data center with ATEN solutions, you should install sensors.

Only models from the PE7/PE8/PE9 series are supported.
